You will play a key role in assisting the General Manager in overseeing the operations, strategic planning, and growth of our WISP business.
You will collaborate with various departments and provide support to ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of the organization.
This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and detail-oriented professional with a strong background in the telecommunications industry.
Responsibilities:
Support the General Manager in all aspects of WISP operations, including strategic planning, goal setting, and overall business management based out of our office in Morrison, and on-site throughout our coverage area along the front-range/mountains of Colorado.
Learn all aspects of the WISP operations to be able to jump into any role when needed, with the positive attitude to then do the work.
Collaborate with department heads to ensure seamless coordination and efficient operation of various departments, such as network operations, customer service, sales, and technical support.
Assist in developing and implementing strategies to drive business growth, expanding the customer base, and enhance revenue streams.
Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the overall performance of the company and identify areas for improvement.
Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, customer demands, and competitive landscapes to stay ahead of the industry curve.
Participate in the development and execution of marketing initiatives, including advertising campaigns, promotions, and customer retention strategies.
Assist in managing vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the timely delivery of goods and services.
Help develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, such as government entities, industry associations, and strategic partners.
Support the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Build positive relationships with all staff members, fostering a positive work environment, and promoting professional growth and development.
Assist in preparing and presenting reports, budgets, and financial statements as needed.
Requirements:
Experience in the telecommunications industry preferred, specifically in a WISP environment, but open to tech related industries.
Strong knowledge of wireless networking technologies, Internet protocols, and related hardware and software preferred.
Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Demonstrated leadership abilities and the capacity to make sound decisions under pressure.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment and willingness to take on new challenges.
